THORMI WON the FFCR Innovation Award 2026

On January 21–22, the Thormi team participated in the prestigious HoReCa sector food fair FFCR Helsinki in Finland. Our participation was supported by the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency Development Programme. In addition to the innovation award won last year at Gulfood, we now also have the FFCR Innovation Award on our shelf. The winners were chosen by visitors and consumers.

SHREDDED CHICKENLESS- the best plant-based product 2026

Plant-Based Tuesday has, for the seventh time, identified the best plant-based products on the Estonian market. This year, the public chose Thormi´s shredded chickenless  as both the overall winner and the best meat alternative. Kanatu is free from E-numbers and has a nutritional profile very similar to chicken fillet.

HME is of interest to PET FOOD MANUFACTURERS

High-Moisture Extrusion is trending in pet food industry.  Several European pet food manufacturers have recently tested our raw material.

Pea protein works well in pet foods where grains need to be avoided, as well as for dogs that are allergic to certain animal proteins.

Dammit! How is this possible? How can a plant based meat taste so good! Global warming is, a very serious problem. By consuming Thormi, you can reduce the amount of volatile methane. I really enjoyed this guilt-free burger without cow fart 🙂

I have used Thormi in very different dishes. It is amazing how multifunctional raw material Thormi can be. You can use it in soups, salads, pies, stews and in all foods you have used minced meat so far.

Wow, this is really good! I cannot believe this is not meat. Thormi tastes like real meat but it is much lighter.
