THORMI is a Tallinn-based pea protein extrusion factory, unique in the Nordic and Baltic region, which develops and manufactures meat-equivalent next-generation ingredients for the food industry for the production of plant-based and hybrid products, and offers a range of plant-based finished products for the HoReCa and retail sectors.

Our portfolio includes high-protein, ready-to-use, gluten-free, allergen-free and GMO-free dry-extruded TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein), wet-extruded HME (High Moisture Extrusion), as well as TVP- and HME-based plant-based finished products in both HoReCa bulk packaging and retail formats, either under the THORMI brand or as private label solutions. We also supply plant-based ingredients for pet food production. We are at the forefront of our field in terms of both quality and price.

We use European-origin pea protein, enabling shorter and more reliable supply chains and a lower environmental footprint. Peas naturally fix nitrogen in the soil, reducing the need for fertilisers and supporting sustainable agriculture. This allows us to offer a responsible and competitive alternative to traditional protein sources.
